"Off with their heads!"
Well, Alice in Wonderland's Red Queen may not be visiting the Coronado Springs resort, but they did get a new queen during their renovations. Coronado is now the only moderate Disney resort with two queen beds as an option, instead of two full sized beds.
My first question was, "So, what?" I'm not that familiar with various bed sizes, so I wasn't even sure how much more room I'd actually have, anyway. Well, technically speaking, you get about 5 extra inches of width and height when jumping from a full to a queen bed. In practice, this meant I was much more comfortable sharing a bed with my 6 year old son.
Next time you're planning a Disney World vacation, consider Coronado Springs resort if you're on a Moderate resort budget, but want a more Deluxe bed arrangement.
