Disney’s Coronado Springs Remodeled Rooms

by admin on June 21, 2010

Disney's Coronado Springs recently completed a long room renovation project and the new rooms look fantastic!  Coronado added some very nice leather ottoman's, a solid wood sliding door to separate the bath area from the rest of the room, new comforters, TV and dresser, and headboards.  The overall look has been immensely improved, in my humble opinion.  Another huge change in the renovation: queen beds!  This is the only moderate Disney World resort with two queen beds as an option!  It made a world of difference when sharing one with my 6 year old son. :)

We recently had the opportunity to stay in one of the completed rooms and took some photos to share with you.

I really like that they added a full wood sliding door to separate the bath from the room.  It's a great place to put a baby in a crib and close that sliding door to keep the noise from the main room from disturbing the infant.  Prior to renovation, Coronado just had a curtain to separate and it wasn't enough to buffer the sound when we had infants.

Also, the new TV and cabinet is very nice.  Make sure you find the fridge hiding behind the big door!

Here's a video that shows you a bit more of the room.

let's just hope that the rooms prices they're renovated will not increase it's charges. But the rooms really looks more appealing than the old style.
