Disney’s Boardwalk Inn Tour

by admin on May 11, 2010

Reminiscent of old Coney Island or Atlantic City, Disney's Boardwalk Inn features a decor inspired by the seaside villages of the Northeastern United States.

Boardwalk Entrance

Situated along Crescent Lake, Disney's Boardwalk Inn is one of the Epcot Deluxe resorts.  You can walk to the World Showcase entrance of Epcot and if you're feeling sporty, you can even walk to Disney's Hollywood Studios, too!

For dining, the Boardwalk Inn features an actual boardwalk full of dining and entertainment, including Kouzzina by Cat Cora, Big River Grill & Brewing Works -- the only working brewpub at the Walt Disney World Resort, Flying Fish, Jelly Rolls, ESPN Club, and much more.  As I mentioned, you're also walking distance to the Epcot World Showcase with a plethora of dining options!

Due to the expanse of the boardwalk entertainment at the Boardwalk Inn, it has pretty much replaced the loss of Disney's Pleasure Island -- not exactly a replacement, but the Disney Boardwalk area has the most entertainment and dining in one place, since the close of Pleasure Island.

You will find a very fun pool themed after a circus with a clown's mouth serving as the water slide exit!  It's really cool!

Disney's Boardwalk Inn is a beautiful resort with excellent access to Epcot and Hollywood Studios, great dining, and fantastic views.  Many people also enjoy running or walking around the boardwalk for exercise or just to check out Disney's Yacht and Beach Clubs situated along the opposite side of the boardwalk from the Boardwalk Inn!

The Boardwalk Inn also has the Boardwalk Villas - a Disney Vacation Club property that accommodates bigger traveling groups.

Overall, a fantastic Deluxe resort.  It is a Deluxe resort, so you will spend a bit more at an average of $385/night, but still less than the Deluxe resorts on the monorail loop at the Magic Kingdom.  Give it some consideration on your next Disney World visit!  For more photos of Disney's Boardwalk Inn, check out our Flicker photo set.
