Last week, Gary Vaynerchuk of Wine Library TV kicked off Epcot's Food & Wine Festival with a few wine tasting seminars. Here's video from the one that happened at the Odyssey on Friday afternoon.
In case you're not familiar with Gary Vaynerchuk, he gives a brief bio in the video to bring you up to speed. He has absolutely destroyed the classic picture you have of a wine connoisseur by bringing normal conversation about wine to the common person.
Gary talked about the need to de-cant your wines, the importance of smelling wine when you're drinking it, and what wines to drink if you don't like red wines (he recommended Beaujolais). It was a very informative session and I encourage you to check out his daily video podcast if you want to learn more about wines.
Gary also has his first book coming out in three weeks called Crush It. It focuses more on his entrepreneurial side, rather than his wine knowledge, but I can't wait to check it out, anyway.
