Will Disney be doing anything special for the Inauguration on Tuesday?
While the Disney World parks will not be doing anything specific for the Presidential Inauguration of Barack Obama, the Disney Channel will be broadcasting a special show called Kids Inaugural: We Are The Future, featuring Michelle Obama, Miley Cyrus, the Jonas Brothers, and many other celebrity appearances. The concert/show will be performed in Washington, D.C. and will air on the Disney Channel at 8PM Eastern time, today.
Additionally, the Magic Kingdom continues refurbishing the Hall of Presidents, which will include adding the 44th President to the attraction. This attraction is expected to re-open on or near the 4th of July, including the addition of Barack Obama and his voice to the new features.
